The Town Party
Ledbury Poetry Festival is thrilled to announce the return of our fantastic Town Party!
On the 11th of July, from 11 am to 5pm on Ledbury High Street we invite you to join in a climactic celebration of our wonderful Festival. We expect to see Ledbury High Street thronging with people eating, dancing and having fun!
Our Town Party is a chance for all the family to feast on the finest local produce from our Summer Food Fair and to listen to live music and poets including one of the UK's most bold and innovative Cuban Bands, Cuban Combination. Also there will be music from Ramblin' Pony who herald from Birmingham and will bring the raw power of the blues to the Ledbury poetry festival.
As well as the following local producers there will be a Hog Roast supplied by the award winning family butcher's D.T Waller & Sons.
Summer Food Fair
Just Rachel Ice Creams
Just Rachel uses natural ingredients to craft delicious ice cream and desserts in Hereford, Just Rachel is also the winner of a Gold Great Taste Award. A real treat to have at the festival!
Greggs Pit - Cider and Perry
Producer of both high quality cider and perry in Herefordshire. Greggs Pit has featured on BBC programme 'Hairy Bikers Tour of Britain' and has had a feature in The Royal Horticultural Society's magazine 'The Garden'. A real honour to have these great cider producers at Ledbury.
Hollywell Spring Water
Spring water produced at a site in Malvern from a centuries old spring. The site has recently been restored by Malvern Heritage to continue to bring crisp and clear water to Herefordshire.
Once Upon A Tree
Producers of cider, perry and apple juice. Once upon a tree are based at Dragon Orchard in Putley, Herefordshire. Dragon Orchard is a small, traditional orchard who have been promoting local produce for a number of years and have a real passion for good producer customer relations.
